Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the game Cozy Tent on all platforms, including Meta Quest (Meta Horizon Store). Developer and data controller: Jopam Studio (Johan Jimenez). Contact: johan.jimenez.23@gmail.com.

1. What data Cozy Tent collects and processes

On Meta Quest, Cozy Tent uses Meta Platform features and therefore collects and processes the following user data:

Data	What it is	How Cozy Tent uses it
User ID	The numeric identifier of your Meta account for this app. It does not include your name, email or profile picture.	(1) To read, unlock and update your Cozy Tent achievements on the Meta platform. (2) To request your account's age group from Meta (see below).
User age group	The age category of your Meta account: child, teen or adult. It is not your date of birth or exact age.	To keep Meta achievements turned off on child accounts. It is requested once each time the game starts.

Cozy Tent does not collect or process any other user data. It does not access your name, username, profile picture, friends list, avatar, email, location, contacts, microphone, camera, hand, body, eye or face tracking data, and it contains no ads, analytics or tracking.

2. How this data is used, stored and shared

• Purpose. The User ID and User age group are used only for the purposes listed in the table above. They are never used for advertising, marketing or profiling, and are never combined with other data or sold.
• Processing. The data is obtained from Meta through the Meta Platform SDK while the game is running and is processed on your device.
• Storage and retention. Jopam Studio does not operate any server and does not store your User ID or User age group anywhere. They are held in memory only while the game is running and are discarded when it closes. Your achievement progress is stored by Meta in your Meta account.
• Sharing. This data is not shared with, sold to or transferred to any third party. It is exchanged only between the game and Meta.

3. How to request deletion of your data

Any user, in any country, can request deletion of their data at any time and free of charge:

1. Send a deletion request by email to johan.jimenez.23@gmail.com with the subject “Cozy Tent – Data deletion request”. Include the platform you play on. We will delete any data we hold about you and confirm it by email within 30 days. You can use the same address to request access to, or correction of, your data.
2. Data stored on your device (your save, in-game photos and settings): delete it at any time with “Reset progress” in the game settings, or by uninstalling the game.
3. Data stored by Meta (your Meta account and your Cozy Tent achievement progress): on request we will tell you how to remove it, and you can also manage or delete it yourself from your Meta account at accountscenter.meta.com.

We do not refuse deletion requests. If we hold no data about you, we will tell you so in our reply.

4. Data stored on your device

Your save (objects in the tent, finds, your pet's name, settings), the photos you take in the game and any image or book you import are stored only on your device. They are never sent to Jopam Studio. Photos leave the device only if you choose to save them to your gallery or share them.

5. Permissions and internet connection

The game may ask for access to your photos or files only when you choose to import an image or save a photo. The game works offline; it goes online only for the Meta Platform features described above and to download books from the optional library when you ask for one. Those books are hosted on GitHub Pages, which logs requests like any web server.

6. Other platforms

On Google Play, the App Store and Steam, achievements and purchases are handled by the store under its own privacy policy. Jopam Studio never sees or stores payment details and receives no personal data from those stores.

7. Children

Cozy Tent is suitable for all ages. It has no ads, accounts of its own, chat or tracking. On Meta Quest the only data processed for a child account is the User ID, used to request the User age group, which in turn is used to turn Meta achievements off for that account.

8. This website

The game itself contains no analytics. The website johanjimenex.github.io/cozy-tent uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which page they come from. Its cookies are stored only if you accept them in the notice shown on the site; if you decline, Google receives only anonymous, cookieless visit pings. This page does not load Google Analytics.

9. Changes to this policy

If the game changes how it handles data, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
